Ptarmigan existed as a project space in Vallila from 2009-2011 and a mobile curatorial/creative platform until 2014. We no longer exist as an organised collective, but this website will continue to serve as an archive of the activities produced as/at Ptarmigan during these years.
Ptarmigan has been on residency with the project Perfhop at the Performance Centre (Esitystaiteen Keskus) in Helsinki between 7th-27th July. Join us for the concluding event on Thursday 26th July. There will be live music, improvisations, collaborations, warm conversation and snacks! We will share fragments of the diverse creative outputs that have occurred during the residency and create new outputs throughout the event.
The line-up includes: Guadalupe López Íñiguez & Anna Rouhu, TID workshop outcomes, the presence of Cherry Love, an installation ‘video for performance for video filmset’ by Marek Pluciennik, popcorn prepared by Sari TM Kivinen, plus more to be announced……
