Ptarmigan existed as a project space in Vallila from 2009-2011 and a mobile curatorial/creative platform until 2014. We no longer exist as an organised collective, but this website will continue to serve as an archive of the activities produced as/at Ptarmigan during these years.

REDISCOVERING ARGENTINE SILENT CINEMA VOL. II: 1920’s
This film contains images produced in Argentina in 1920’s. It compiles archive stuff and documentary takes that were shot in 35mm during that decade in Buenos Aires and other Argentine locations.
Most of this stuff has not been screened in public for many years and it has
an important documental and filmic value. Originally these movies were
exhibited along with live music. In this program the sound will come from a
live music performance oriented to experimental drone and abstract noise.
