Ptarmigan is a mutipurpose space in Vallila.  It is intended to house projects that exist outside of the realm of the traditional and provide a space for adventurous and challenging scenarios.  Whether it be performance, visual art, sound, interactive work, or other things -- we hope for Ptarmigan to be a home for innovative projects.

Our current exhibition is 'Muistakaa Espanjaa' by Amanda Vähämäki, through Wednesday 15 September.  Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 13-17 except Thursday 15-20.  Other times are available by appointment, please contact us!

Ptarmigan is located at Nilsiänkatu 10, in the Vallila area of Helsinki.

Ptarmigan is within an easy walk from a number of tram stops. 7A and 7B on Mäkelänkatu, 1 or 1A on Sturenkatu, the 3B on Porvoonkatu or or 9 on Aleksis Kivenkatu.  Please ring the bell outside the second floor door during business hours; doors are open during events.
